Ms. Anderson attended the Los Angeles County - University of Southern California Medical Center - School of Nursing and graduated in 1986 as a Registered Nurse. She worked in the Emergency Department of Los Angeles County - USC Medical Center, a level I Trauma Center.
Yolanda moved to Colorado in 1987 and began working in the Emergency Department at Saint Anthony Hospital - Central in Denver, Colorado, a level I Trauma Center. She has worked as a staff and charge nurse and worked with trauma and the Flight For Life program. Yolanda helped initiate the Hyperbaric Medicine program for St. Anthony hospital.
She has worked in the Emergency Department at Littleton Adventist Hospital - Littleton, Colorado, a level II Trauma Center for 15 years. She helped with the expansion and reconstruction of the current Emergency Department facility. She has worked as a staff RN, Charge RN and Assistant Nurse Manager in the Emergency Department.
Yolanda is an instructor for the Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course, is a Certified Emergency Nurse, and a Certified Legal Nurse Consultant. Yolanda is the president of Colorado Care Consultants.
